Sick as a dog 4 kilos skinnier....dissappeari.n...g.....
Wow I guess it is time to update my page after a two month break. At the end of July I had my 42nd birthday a quiet affair in Porteña y Bailarin. The same week I was two months back in BsAs and at the end of my second year dancing tango. Ten months to go and still loving it. I was still on the dance floors 7 days a week packing the hours away, when in the second week in August I got a bug or a bout of food poisoning, I was in bed for seven days couldn't hold water for half an hour so I slept as much as I could and spoke to the great white telephone for the rest of the time. And while I didn't like it at this end I was glad I wasn't on the other end. Not being able to eat for a week I lost about 4 kilos in weight. It took till the end of the month to get my energy back so August was not nearly as intensive as the previous two. I was attending the classes by Ana María Schapira and stayed with her for nearly 2 months after which time I was looking for something else to tease me on the piste. Anna M. Shapira teaches Estilo Milonguero, I like very much the way she teaches as you are able to use the steps she gives very quickly, in the Milongas. Highly recommended if you are into the Milonguero way of dancing. September was a subdued month also dancing five days a week more lessons than milongas. I had the company of a friend Elmar visiting from Ireland for a one month Tango boost. I was glad to introduce him to the teachers who taught and were teaching me.
